SUPP is technically a defunct party. After Datuk Song Swee Guan, SUPP has not produced a half decent candidate. And look at what happened to Datuk Song. He was a nice guy, and best to my knowledge, incorrupt. The people loved him and under his administration, Kuching roared like a tiger instead of a cat as its name suggested.
However, Datuk Song was too nice a man. People took advantage of his niceties and he was driven to bankruptcy because of his generosity in being the guarantor for student, private and business loans.
Since then, DAP has taken over and let’s face it, DAP definitely has candidates which are superior in quality.
